Self Defense Moves

Self Defense Moves

What is the best move of self-defense? Is the punch throat?

What do you think the best move of defense is if confronted ... Have you ever had to use it?

With a male attacker, a kick in the groin always work. An eye gouge is also a big hit.

Is there a defense motion to move away from a person who is choking?

it depends how they are trying to strangle: the case of a dredge in front of the throat with his bare hands: take your arms above his own with a strike sharp downward force near the trap elbows and arms close to your chest (this also works if you are on both sides of his waist and is choking on the floor). this will take the pressure of his grip, but not completely, then you can knee strike (if standing) in the groin and using any technique you want to do later, but I would suggest something to damage the knee so they have less mobility. if you are on the ground, using the same technique but the use of hips to roll to one side while keeping their arms stuck firmly to his chest with one arm, use your free hand to a palm blow or hit in the face to give him time to get up and finish with a blow to the groin, or strike damaging the knee to prevent their mobility. if you are behind with their bare hands, a foot stomp should give you a moment to grab his hands so the palms are touching facing upward and forward over his shoulders to break the arms at the elbows and finish them as you please to escape. if you are being strangled by a rope, a towel, or cable, etc, try to lean forward and throw them on with the chin toward your chest and roll forward, backward or push hard for them against the wall, if you can you can jab your fingers into the eyes or throat, or groin can be great, do it again and again my legs hurt so to give their mobility limilts more time to escape.

This is a course in how to create pain fast using motor movements and skills that you developed before two years of age! You didn't need to read any books to learn how to sit, stand, walk, clap your hands, grab objects or climb up some stairs? You can learn to transfer these basic physical skills into effective self defense moves today, regardless of your current fitness level. Using common household props to learn the physical skills, bringing up good self defense prevention information, and understanding how to use the motor skills you already possess to remove yourself from danger is the purpose of "WITS (Whatever It Takes) Self Defense Workbook. The Ultimate Self Defense Moves Are Basic and not flashy or spectacular. Rather, they are simple, straight forward, and to the point. Most importantly, they need to be applied by anyone regardless of age, height, or weight against a much more aggressive and larger opponent. Can this be done? Not only can it be done, it has been done. One of the most stirring accounts that points out this fact is found in the tale of an 8 year old boy who successfully protected his 4 year old sister from being abducted. In May of 2010, a man attempted to abduct Josie Kuhns while the family was on vacation. Her older brother, Nathan, (Again, "older" in this scenario is 8 years old) came to her rescue. As an unidentified man tried to pull her into his car, Nathan ran up to the man and started kicking and scratching him. Stunned at the response, the abductor let go of Josie and drove off in his car.The only personal protection techniques Nathan used to defend his sister were kicking, scratching, and taking the fight to the assailant. Again, basic self defense moves are often the key to extricating yourself from a serious situation, and saving a loved one.

Kenpo Forms

by shdwdc from St. Louis, MO on 2010-06-17
I was not aware that this DVD is all about Kenpo forms not fighting "system". The forms are so much similar to the TKD and Soo Bahk Do forms. I wish that the publisher mentioned that this is all that it is. FORMS.
